Karla C. Miller. This is the fifth consecutive year that Founding Partner Karla Miller has been named to Mid-South Super Lawyers. The Nashville Business Journal named her to the Best of the Bar in 2009. The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee, US Dept. of Defense, named her Ombudsman of the Year in 2008, and awarded her the Seven Seals Award in 2005. Karla was appointed by Governor Phil Bredesen to serve as a Commissioner on the Board of Commissioners of the Tennessee Human Rights Commission, a position she held from 2006-2014. Karla maintains a perfect 10/10 rating on Avvo, and has routinely been recognized with the Client’s Choice Award, presented by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
Rachel S. Upshaw. This is the fifth consecutive year Rachel Upshaw has been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers; she was previously named to Rising Stars (2014-2016).
